Emma completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Ottawa in 2015. With a special interest in mental health, she also completed a Bachelor of General Social Sciences with a minor in Psychology in 2016.
Having worked in family medicine for almost 4 years, she has worked with people wanting to prevent or manage conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, gastrointestinal symptoms.
As her spouse suffers from chronic pain, she has deepened her knowledge on the subject in relation to nutrition and now accompanies people suffering from chronic pain with the nutritional aspect of pain management to improve their quality of life.
As a mother of two young children, she enjoys reading, being outdoors and spending time with the people she loves.
